We are a Czech company focused on manufacturing waterproofing membranes. We understand that in insulation, a single mistake is enough, and the consequences for a building can be fatal. That's why we place great emphasis on the high quality of the materials used and precise adherence to all manufacturing procedures. Our flagship products are smooth polyethylene PENEFOL® membranes and studded (dimpled) polyethylene membranes under the LITHOPLAST® brand.
We also manufacture die-cut foil parts as well as flame-retardant membranes and anti-slip foils. Thanks to our specialized machinery, we can also handle unconventionally shaped products, even for smaller production runs. So a small batch is no problem at all. Our products are used in the construction, textile, leather, sporting goods, and automotive industries. In addition to our own production, we also distribute geotextiles, drainage mats, PVC foils, and other insulation materials.
1996 - Founding of the company LITHOPLAST, s.r.o., start of sales of PENEFOL® flat polyethylene membranes and accessories.
2001 - Start of sales of LITHOPLAST® studded (dimpled) polyethylene membranes and accessories.
2005 - Purchase of the PENEFOL® and LITHOPLAST® trademarks from GUMOTEX, a.s.
2005 - Purchase of technology for manufacturing PENEFOL® flat LDPE and HDPE membranes and LITHOPLAST® HDPE studded membranes.
2009 - Purchase of technology for manufacturing LITHOPLAST® INSTAL and LITHOPLAST® DREN studded membranes with stud heights of 40 and 80 mm.
2011 - Newly developed stud shape for LITHOPLAST INSTAL 20 membrane with higher strength.
2021 - Newly developed compound for manufacturing flame-retardant membranes for the automotive industry.
2025 - Newly developed compound for manufacturing anti-slip foils used in logistics as an alternative to standard pallets.
2026 - Newly developed studded membranes for pre-cultivation outside of green roofs (smaller boxes/trays).
